Empowering Nonprofits to make a change. Empowering people to change their lives
Humanitarian Aid Security is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that’s devoted to safeguarding other NGO’s as they carry out their missions in potentially dangerous environments.
Most security training today is offered by for-profit security professionals who have no understanding of the nonprofit and humanitarian worlds and who have no idea how to balance the needs of the mission with the need to make the world a better place. We, on the other hand, are a mix of combat vets, nonprofit professionals, and brave everyday citizens who are devoted to using our skills to make the world a better place. We have seen time and again that only when staff and volunteers feel well prepared, feel supported by a team, and know that they won’t ever be left twisting in the wind, that they can bring their whole selves to their organizations mission and achieve true impact.
We safeguard others nonprofits through multiple ways. Firstly, by using our team of Security Ambassadors to provide tailored, on the ground support and drive active acceptance of your mission or your activism. Secondly, by using our network of vetted vendors to teach your organization’s staff and volunteers the simple, time tested, and easy to remember techniques necessary to keep them aware of their situation, out of danger, and, if ever needed, how to save themselves. Thirdly, by conducting security audits, risk assessments, and emergency response consultation at an organizational level, to make sure your organization is well prepared for whatever my occur.
We all deeply believe that the world can be made into a better place if we're all a little bit more aware, if we are all a little bit better prepared, and if we're all confident enough to be a little bit braver. Through our trainings and our consultation, we can give you that awareness, that preparation, and the confidence to fuel your bravery.
We look forward to partnering with you to ensure we leave a better world than the one we were born into.
